TEACHING AT
STEYNING BOWL PRIVATE SITE
Chris Jones Chris Jones here at Devils Dyke 21st of June and he flew over 40 Kms. He started with the school 2 years ago. He is still learning and achieving many personal goals.
Devils Dyke The winds were light and hard to stay with the thermals. A good amount of concentration was required, showing true pilot skills.
Thermic West

Sky look good, see the cumulous fluffy clouds, they spell out possible cross country.

This type of sky comes when we have north winds.

Vince Freeflight Next day at Steyning Bowl and winds were from the south East and less thermic. Very good for training.
Adrian here making a perfect flare, a term used when coming into land. Adrian is on a course with UK Airsports and is on day three.
Freeflight Student, Vince Prior, he is friends of Simon Gorringe. Both started training abroad and have continued back in the UK.
Vince Prior Vince and Simon will be back out in France end of August and finish off the top landings here in the Uk.
Adrian, makes a perfect take off, 2 steps and air-bourne, a miss conception that people require to run. Done correctly a pilot can become air-bourne in 2 to 4 steps.
John Mitchell John Mitchell with a new hair cut and new kit.
Vince Prior What did you think of the days tuition Vince ?
Vince Prior
